musicians/artists life.

Big artists as well as small artists.

But many artists and musicians struggle with booking their own concerts.

This workshop gives you practical steps and helpful mindsets to make booking

easier, more effective, and more enjoyable, - either as solo artist or as duo/band.

Every artist carries an invisible script: core beliefs about who we are, what is possible, and what we “are allowed” to want. These beliefs often form very early – through family, education, culture, and artistic peers – and can become so familiar that we confuse them with reality itself. They can lift us up (“I’m allowed to experiment, even if I fail”) or quietly hold us back (“I’m only valuable when I’m productive”).

In this Artist Circle, we’ll explore how core beliefs come into being, why they are so powerful in our creative lives, and how they influence our relationship to success, failure, and visibility. We’ll look at how these beliefs affect our nervous system, our stress responses, and our capacity to regenerate – and how shifting them can directly strengthen our resilience.

Through short inputs, reflection exercises, and gentle group work, you’ll learn practical ways to recognize limiting beliefs, experiment with new inner narratives, and anchor more supportive beliefs in everyday artistic life. The goal is not to “optimize” you, but to give you tools to work with your inner world instead of against it – so that your beliefs become an ally for your art, your health, and your long-term path as an artist.

Dieser Workshop richtet sich an selbstständige und freiberufliche Musiker*innen, die ihre Finanzen besser verstehen und langfristig planen möchten. Gemeinsam schauen wir auf den finanziellen Alltag, den sinnvollen Umgang mit Budgets sowie die Planung von Einnahmen und Ausgaben in der Musikbranche.

Ein weiterer Schwerpunkt liegt auf der Altersvorsorge für Selbstständige: Was ist der Unterschied zwischen Rürup- und Riester-Rente und welche Optionen gibt es darüber hinaus? Außerdem beschäftigen wir uns mit privatem Vermögensaufbau für die Rente, zum Beispiel mit ETFs.

Zum Abschluss berechnen wir gemeinsam die individuelle Rentenlücke. Bitte bringt dafür – wenn vorhanden – euren aktuellen Rentenbescheid mit.

We’re excited to share something new with you: we’ve launched a new app/webapp designed to make it easier for artists to connect with each other and with music professionals.

YOU CAN REGISTER HERE.

For a long time, we facilitated these connections in an analog way — with Polaroid photos and handwritten profiles at our events. This new tool is a digital evolution of that idea, created to make connecting easier and to keep those encounters going beyond the moment.

With the app, you can create a profile, share what you do and what you’re looking for, and make yourself visible to others in the Music Pool community — all in one place.

We’re looking forward to seeing this space grow and to supporting new connections, collaborations, and exchanges.

The Artist Meetup is a space for musicians in Berlin to meet and network across scenes and genres, exchange, and maybe find new collaborations and eventually also build solidary connections.
