Sale is going to take you all for a tour in the memory lane of Waltari's early years. To be exact to the year 1986 and one of the first Waltari gigs. Enjoy!

Yeah, there was an outdoor show…or should we say gig☺, at Tapiola Garden market square, in the center of Tapiola, Espoo, spring 1986. This must have been amongst our first 10 shows, 'cause the repertoire was still consisting of the first 15 songs the band had. The precise location was a small place under some woods there, in the center of the market square. There was a floor-like bottom build from some pieces of concrete, where we could place the backline, and then some woods around it, so we decided to play there. No talk about having any PA system there, so we could play anywhere, where ever we want. It really wasn´t any stage - a strange location indeed.  

Well, we were playing there our strange rock music, and of course with the fullest force as always☺, though it was a pretty early daytime. The market square sellers, working close to us, were not so happy about the noise we were making, though we tried to keep volume as low as possible☺☺. , In the end, one of the sellers came and turned over a bottle of Fanta on my head, while I was playing☺.
